Susan Hall,daughter of Robert and Isabelle Hall,was born in Ohio,May 19,1850,and departed this life at her home in Pollock,Mo.,
Jan.15,1935 aged 84 years,seven months and 26 days.
In the year 1871 she was united in marriage to William Hilligoss.To this union 11 children were born,six of whom preceded her in death.Those surviving are Nellie Harlan of Hitchcock,Okla.;W.O.Hilligoss of Wichita,
Kansas;Floyd and Charley Hilligoss and Stella Pierson of Pollock,Mo.
She also leaves 17 grandchildren and other relatives and many friends.
She was converted about 30 years ago and united with the Christian Union church.She has since lived a true devoted life,leaving a testimony that she was ready to go.During her last days she was constantly in prayer for her loved ones.In her passing,the children have lost a devoted mother and the community a true friend and citizen.May the blessings of God be upon the bereaved ones.
Funeral services were conducted at the M.E.church in Pollock by Rev.B.E.Sinclair,after which the remians were laid to rest in the Pollock cemetery.
