Elizabeth was born to immigrant Johannes Shaum and his second wife, ?? Miller in Northmampton County, PA on April 15, 1792.
She married Martin Overholt, and together they raised a large family of seve children: Mary "Mollie" (1818), William (1820), Abraham (1823), Anna (1824), Leah (1827), Sarah (1829) and Elizabeth (1830). They came to Ohio in 1828.
She passed away on November 28, 1856, at the age of 64y 7m 13d.
