Death Claims Mother of 2 Local Growers
Anna E. Geisler, mother of two Hartford fruit growers, died Tuesday afternoon at Benton Harbor.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Zuver and Calvin chapel. The Rev. Norman Clapp, pastor of the Federated church, will officiate and burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Geisler was a native of Royalton township, Berrien county. Her husband, Jacob, died four years ago.
Surviving are two sons, Stanley and Glenn, who operate fruit farms here; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Solun, Chicago; two brothers, Fred Zabell of St. Joseph, and Reuben Zabell of Benton Harbor; two sisters, Sophia Robinson of Bend, Ore., and Minnie Veen of Pametto, Fla., and two grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dean Richmond, David Friday, Clarence Patterson, Lloyd Robinson, G. T. McCray, and Edward Bland.
