SETTLEMIRES, Mrs. Carrie Nelms, 76, Ripley, died August 26, 1976 in Tippah County Hospital. She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church. Services were August 27 at 4 pm at Lone Oak Baptist Church with burial in Lone Oak Cemetery. Rev Bill Talley officiated. Coleman Funeral Home was in charge. Survivors include three sons, Loward W., Howard J. and Aaron M. Settlemires, all of Ripley; three daughters, Mrs. Rex Lockhart, Mrs. J.R. Davis and Mrs. Nelly Rogers, all of Walnut; 25 grandchildren and 35 ggrandchildren. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Bobby Settlemires, Elbert Settlemires, Rickey Settlemires, David Settlemires, Junior Settlemires and Jimmy Settlemires.
