Mrs. Margaret Barry, mother of Charles Barry of Bemidji, passed away Sunday, October 29, at 1:40 p.m. at the Lutheran Hospital at the age of 81 years after a short illness.
Mrs. Barry was born in Canada, June 20, 1858 and had been in the United States about ?5 years.
She came to Bemidji five years ago from Brainered and made her home at 1004 Ervine avenue. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Barry and one son, Thomas, at Brainered.
She is survived by two sons, Charles of Bemidji, and David Barry of Minneapolis, two daughters, Mrs. Clem Kembitskey of Solway, and Mrs. Harold De Lander of Crosby, also nine grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Kate Hughes of Floodwood, and a brother John Kennedy of Annandale.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. at St. Phillip's Catholic church with interment at Holy Cross cemetery. The remains will be at the home of son, Charles Barry 1102 Minnesota avenue until time of the funeral.
Her son and daughters were summoned to Bemidji because of her critical condition and were here at the time of her death.

She was well known here, having visited with her sister Mrs. Kate Hughes, often. Mrs. Hughes who is visiting at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mrs. Leo Pollack, at Floodwood attended her funeral.
