Obituary - Indiana Herald, Huntington, Indiana, Wed., June 26, 1861.
Casualties - Recently a Mrs. Black, wife of Michael Black, of Clearcreek township, came to her death in a very sudden and singular manner. While in the act of removing some cabbage plants from a box near the chimney of a log house, about three feet off the top fell down, striking Mrs. B. and killing her instantly. A daughter, who was standing by at the time, was considerably injured, but has since recovered.
