WOODFORD LATHROP Woodford "Wood" Lathrop Jr., 91, a native of Leeville and residentof Golden Meadow, died at 10:25 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999. Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. tofuneral time Tuesday at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off. Mass will be at 10a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow,with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Marie Terrebonne Lathrop; oneson, Woodford "Woody" LathropIII; one daughter, Brenda Johnson; two brothers,Morrison and Lorris Lathrop; five sisters, Doris Bouzigard, CarrieCheramie, Georgeanna Gaspared, Onise Galliano and Dorothey Pasquale; sixgrandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodford H. and LeonciaCorant Lathrop Sr.; two brothers Davidson and Bradford Lathrop; and twosisters, Leonore Pitre and Nora Anselmi. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
