Olney Mathers, Visitation Tonight
Olney Mathers, 88, of Maypearl passed away Sunday, May 18, 1997 at Baylor Medical Center-Ellis County at Waxahachie.
He married the former Thelma Leona Crow on January 10, 1937, in Maypearl. He was a former employee of LTV.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Thelma Mathers of Maypearl; one daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Richard Curry of Waxahachie; and two grandsons, Mark Curry of Palmer and Kirk Curry of Waxahachie.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 1997, in the chapel of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home with the Rev. George Merriman and the Rev. Tony Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow in Maypearl Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Mathers, Tommy Mathers, Roy Jean Harris, Lee Crow, Lew Crow and Ervin Schulz. Honarary pallbearers will be Lynn Crow and Bob Crow.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home, 511 W. Main St. in Waxahachie, 937-2211.
