Frederick T. Schaub Sr., 89, of Kickapoo, died at 12:55 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, 1992, at Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria. Born Dec. 10, 1902, in Edwards to Nicholas W. and Mary Violet Schaub, he married Margaret M. Kinsella on Sept. 3, 1930, in Peoria. She died Jan. 29, 1992, in Peoria. Two sisters and three brothers also preceded him in death. Surviving are seven sons, Frederick T. Jr. of East Peoria, Richard and Leo, both of Edwards, William of San Antonio, Texas, George and Robert, both of Peoria, and Edward "Tony" of Yates City; four daughters, Mrs. Harold (Liz) Gilles of Brimfield, Mrs. Carl (Louise) Hasselbacher and Mrs. Michael (Alice) Bergevin, both of Peoria, and Mrs. Carl (Margaret) Mangold of Buda; one sister, Kathryn Duchene of Peoria; 36 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
