Death of a Child
The six year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Bailey, who reside 10 miles south of Lexington died Friday afternoon about 2 o'clock. Her death resulting from burns received Thanksgiving day. She was playing near a fire when the flames caught her dress and before assistance arrived she was burned in such a manner as to cause death.
The funeral was held from the home Saturday at 2:30 o'clock. Burial was at Greenton.
