WHICKER, ANJULINA
MRS. JAMES WHICKER DEAD

Mrs. Anjulina Whicker died at 6:30 o'clock yesterday morning, at her home eight miles north of Emporia. Mrs. Whicker, whose maiden name was Miss Anjulina Hibbs, was born July 3, 1828, at Coatsville, Ind. She was married to James Whicker, November 15, 1849, and with her husband, came to Kansas in 1878, and settled on a farm north of Emporia. Mr. Whicker died in 1908. Mrs. Whicker is survived by eight children, Misses Ruth Whicker and Vanda Whicker, Lewis Whicker, John Whicker, all of Emporia; Lincoln Whicker, Emory Whicker and Mrs. Mary Harlan, of Madison, and Mrs. Elva Earhart, of Reading. Funeral services were held at the home at 3 o'clock this afternoon, and were in charge of the Rev. Archie Morton, Americus. The interment was in the Rosean Cemetery.
