Madelin Archer

Madelin Archer, 95, passed away at her home in Panama City Beach, Fla., on March 11, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver; her parents, Jasper and Jenny Plant; and a sister, Ruby Plant.

She was a longtime member of Mullen Memorial Baptist Church in Belpre, where she lived most of her life. She was retired owner of Gulf Service Station. She touched the hearts and blessed the lives of all that knew her.

She is survived by two sisters, Juanita Stewart of Williamstown and Joann Plant of Belpre; one brother, William Plant of Parkersburg; one daughter, Betty K. Bryant of Panama City Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, George T. Brookhart of Pensacola, Fla., Cynthia Wagenheim of Panama City Beach and Ray Brookhart of Panama City; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Rockland Cemetery in Belpre, with Pastor Kent Lowther officiating.

The family request donations be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th St., Panama City, FL 32405.
