Frances Gibbs, age 96 of Victoria, Illinois died on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 5:55 A.M. at the Good Samaritan Nursing in Knoxville, Illinois

She was born on July 19, 1913 in Galesburg, Illinois the daughter of Frank and Ann Trotter Godsil. She married Dean W. Gibbs on July 3, 1934 in Galesburg, Illinois. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1995.

Surviving is a daughter: Sharon (Roger) Seiboldt of Victoria, Illinois
One son: Gary D. (Carol) Gibbs of Victoria, Illinois
Seven Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; and five Great-great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one brother, Raymond Godsil; one sister, Virginia (Jennie) Carlson; and one daughter-in-law, Darlene Gibbs.

She was a homemaker and a farmer's wife, assisting her husband on the farm. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed playing Bridge.
She was of the Methodist Faith.
