WELLSVILLE - Mildred A. Duck 75, of Hammond School Road, Wellsville, OH died at the Vista Center in Lisbon, OH on Friday, April 1, 2011 following a brief illness. She was born in Chester, WV on November 8, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Ruth (Eddy) Lockhart.
Living most of her life in this area, she worked as a cashier at K-Mart for over 20 years, retiring in 2008. She was a 1953 graduate of East Liverpool High School and was a member of the American Legion Post 736 Ladies Auxiliary.
Her husband, James G. Duck, Sr., whom she married on September 9, 1976, died on December 26, 1993.
Mrs. Duck is survived by two sons: Tad Webber and his wife Marsha of Newell, WV and Tim Webber of Wellsville; two daughters: Teri Webber of Lisbon, OH and Sheri Beverly and her husband Dave of Salem, OH as well as nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, three brothers preceded her in death.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Tuesday, April 5, 2011at 11:00 AM with Rev. Paul Sturm officiating.
Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-8PM.
