P., a farmer, age 32; his wife, Harriet L., age 29; and their children: Horace, age 10; Nancy H., age 8; Jacob E., age 6; and Alva D., age 1. Living with the family was James' brother, J. F. McClure, age 22; and his father Green McClure, age 54.
Horace Augustine McClure was the husband of Grace Christine Hunter, the daughter of John B. Hunter and Annie E. Wakefield. She was born on December 18, 1874, probably in Nelson County, Kentucky where her parents were living at the time of the 1880 Census. Horace and Grace were the parents of Addie Berry McClure, who was born on November 20, 1894 in Leitchfield. Addie Berry married Henry Ross Cannon, the son of Richard Overton Cannon and Sarah Ann Thomas, on May 31, 1916. They are buried in the Thomas Cemetery in Leitchfield.
Horace A. McClure was a resident of Grayson County, Kentucky at the time of his death in Christian County, Kentucky at the age of 88 on December 12, 1957. He was buried in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Leitchfield, Kentucky. His wife Grace died ten days later in Grayson County at the age of 83 on December 22, 1957. They share the same stone.
