Adeline L. Kitzmiller Racine died July' 22, 1915., She was born in Ashland, Richland county, Ohio, Aug. 17, 1850.
Her parents moved to Williams county, Ohio, when she was a child, where she grew to womanhood. She was married April 14, 1870, to George F. Racine of the same place. They moved to Gallatin, Daviess county, Missouri, where they made their home for a number of years. They later lived in Nebraska and Kansas, and at the time of her death were living with her son, Fred, in Page county, Iowa. She joined the United Brethren church while living in Nebraska, where membership is still retained.
She leaves to mourn, her departure her husband, four sons and a daughter and many friends. Appropriate funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 'clock. C. W.
McMichael sang a solo and the quartette sang "The Beautiful," which, Mrs. Racine had requested should be used at her funeral services. Rev. Arnold, who preached the sermon, spoke from Isaiah. Friends and neighbors join in extending sympathy to those who are bereft.
The interment was at Elmwood cemetery.
