Lemuel Woodson Northcutt was born July 16, 1869, in Alabama, the son of Adrian Benton Northcutt (1837-1907) and Nancy Caroline Dodson (1836-1930). On November 22, 1888, in Lamar County, Alabama, he married Martha Eugenie Sizemore, who was born May 12, 1872 in Alabama. the daughter of Daniel Henry Sizemore and Margaret Lucinda Woods. Margaret and Lemuel had nine children, including: Ellyle, Clarence, Maud, Lawrence, Claud, Verle, and Warner C. Lemuel died on April 21, 1951 and was buried in the Lexington Cemetery. Martha died on December 24, 1966, and was buried beside her husband.
