Bio

My families include the families of Cox, Upchurch, Davenport, Skinner, Millsaps, Perrine, Warren, Newton and many collateral families. I have a lot more information on family members -- just email me.

My interest in the background of the Upchurches led to southern Cleveland County, Oklahoma where they were early-day settlers. After writing a couple books about communities in the area, I became fascinated with learning more about other early-day families who settled this region back before Oklahoma was a state -- Oklahoma Territory back then.

I've identified over 500 southern Cleveland County, O.T. pioneer families through old tax records, land patents, censuses, burial records, and old newspaper articles. I've found and posted obituaries and some photos for many of these folks on their memorials.

If you're related to any of the folks where I've posted, please contact me and let's get acquainted.
