Andrew Chrise was born 20 Jul 1845 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania; son of Daniel and Elizabeth (Strauser) Chrise.

Andrew was first united in marriage 02 Oct 1870 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania with Elenor Clister; one of seven children born to Peter and Eleanor (Burd) Clister. The family name was originally Clester.

Andrew served his country during the Civil War, enlisting in Company B, 14th Pennsylvania Calvary.

Andrew and Elenor were the parents of nine children:

3. Nathaniel Wishford born 1874 married Margery "Margie" M. Worthington

8. Laura Lucinda died in infancy 1884

Elenor passed away 18 May 1892 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania at the age of 39 years. Her place of burial is unknown at this time.

Andrew was next united in marriage in 1893 with Ophelia Ann Barnhouse; daughter of William R. and Mary Polly (Fike) Barnhouse.

Andrew and Opehlia were the parents of five more children:

Andrew was united in marriage a third time with Lucinda M. Beeghly; daughter of Jeremiah and Anne "Annie" Mary (Harden) Beeghly.

Andrew passed away 03 Jul 1928 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania at the age of 82 years. He was laid to rest in Thomas Cemetery in Markleysburg, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.

Lucinda passed away in 1929 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania at the age of 47 years. She was laid to rest in Thomas Cemetery with Andrew.
