This photo shows both William Taylor and his wife Jennett Taylor's grave. Neither has a stone marking their grave. Direction: Take the lower entrance to the cemetery and drive up to the center of the first curve going left. Near there, there is a "Sims-Childress" plot. Walk from the corner of the Sims-Childress plot nearest the drive approx. 3 to 4 feet. Then from that position walk straight toward the drive and the foot of William's grave is approx. 13'. To the right of William's grave, with about 2' between is Jennett's grave. If one closely looks the indentation in the earth can be seen.

William Taylor, Sr. donated the land for Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church in 1780. This is the second building of wood. Present day church is brick.
