Elias Badwey of 3973 6th Ave., died at 3:30 p.m. yesterday in the Altoona Hospital, where he was admitted Monday, after a brief illness.
He was born in Amyoun, Lebanon, a son of Michael and Sarah (Khoury) Badwey, and married Hannah Abdallah in Philadelphia in March, 1915.
Surviving are his wife, four children, Katherine, Elizabeth, Jack and George, all at home, and a brother, John in Amyoun, Lebanon.
Mr. Badwey had operated a grocery store at the home address since 1926.
Friends will be received at the Bigelow Funeral Home after 7:30 P.M. today.
