Louise Robinette Thomas Murphy, age 83, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 8.
She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late H. Mack Robinette, Sr. and Lillie Ray Robinette.

Louise was a member of East Belmont Presbyterian Church. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister.She will be missed dearly by her daughters, Terri T. Brooks and Janice T. Rodden of Gastonia and grandchildren, Tony Brooks and his wife, Philomena of Gastonia and Steven Mathis, Jr. of Iron Station, sisters and brothers-in-law, Bobbie R. and Bill Pegram of Belmont, Roseanne and Donnie Christopher of Mt. Holly, brother and sister-in-law, Larry Ray and Shirley Robinette of Belmont, step great grandchildren Dylan and Breeanna Tullis.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by husbands Paul A. Thomas and Rev. Fred Murphy and four brothers; J. Edwin Robinette, H. Mack Robinette, Jr., William V. Robinette and Jerry D. Robinette.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday at East Belmont Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Karl Koeler officiating. The family will receive friends at McLean Funeral Directors from 5-7 PM Sunday. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in the name of Louise Thomas Murphy to the church, 901 Catawba St., Belmont, NC 28012.
