Bear hugs, scaring us with his false teeth, letting us play in his garden, his great gardening skills, smoking non-filtered Camels, his hat, his starched stiff as a board khaki pants & shirts, reading his Bible, faithfully attending church, his bald head, the comic books he would bring home from his job, marveling at how he drank hot coffee out of a saucer!
