Murray J. Rosen, Clothier, Civic Leader, Dies
Murray J. Rosen, 67, of 112 Boutelle Street died Sunday at Burbank Hospital.
He was born in Fitchburg a son of the late Barney and Etta (Cohen) Rosen and was a lifelong resident.
A clothier, he was President and Treasurer of Barney
Rosen Co., 706 Main Sreet, since 1948.
He was graduated from Boston University in 1928.
He was a director of Agudas Achim Synagogue and a member of its Brotherhood, a member of Fitchburg and Leominster Probus Club, Fitchburg Lodge of Elks, Achudas Lodge B'Nai B'rith, and a director of the Fitchburg and Leominster Jewish Community Center.
He is survived by a sister, Eunice, wife of Charles Kimmel, a niece and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Agudas Achim Synagogue with Rabbi Harold Roth officiating. Burial will be in Agudas Achim cemetery.
Memorial week will be observed through Sunday at the late residence 112 Boutelle Street. Perlman Funeral Home of Worcester is in charge of arrangments.
