Richard Harrison Isaacs

Richard Harrison Isaacs, born August 15, 1844, Foscoe, Watauga County, N.C., was the son of Emsley Isaacs, SR and Jane Aldridge as thier second child of four children born.

He had two sisters, Elizabeth and Lilly Isaacs and one brother, Emsley Isaacs Jr. Emsley Isaacs Jr. was my Great Grandfather.

Brother: Emsley Isaacs, Jr.

In about 1870, he married Jane E. Johnson in N.C. They had eight children named Willie, Lilly, Donna, Barbara, Jane, Waitstil, John, and Delzie Isaacs. (see info. included with the photo of Richard and Jane Isaacs.)

Richard Isaacs served in the Civil War.

On February 13, 1918, Pineville, Hughes, Avery County, N.C., Richard Harrison Isaacs, still married, died at the age of 73.
