She was a member of Dixsonville Baptist Church and a homemaker. She married Herbert Chandler on June 24, 1961.
Joan is survived by her husband; sons Jerry Raymond Chandler and wife Barbara; Mickey Andrew Chandler and wife, Tracy; daughters, Barbara Duggan and husband Patrick; Sylvia Marie Byrd; brothers, Paul Davidson, Charles, Jackie and Tommy Davidson; step-sisters Sue Jones and Annette Norwood; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her dog and granddog T.T. and Dixie.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Regency Funeral Chapel with Bro Brent Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Big Creek Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearer is Stephanie Farmer.
