Mrs. Bublitz Rites Wednesday at Osage Church

Osage---Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, for Mrs. Babetta Bublitz, 72, who died Sunday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in the family lot at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Bublitz was born in Rodenbach, Germany, October 28, 1885. She came to the U.S. With her mother in June 1892. They lived east of Carpenter and later near Grafton.

She was confirmed in the Rock Creek Lutheran Church and was married to Otto Bublitz in April 1904. They farmed in this area and in January moved into Grafton.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Adeline) Kroneman, Nora Springs; Mrs. Gerhardt (Irma) Gemaehlich, St. Ansgar; Mrs. Claus (Linda) Clausen, Mason City; and Mrs. Wilbur (Pearl) Urbatsch, Grafton; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.

Preceeding her in death are her husband, January 12, 1957 and daughter, Clara.
