Tragic Death of Little Boy Xmas.
Paul, son of Mr. and Mrs. James McDermott of Susquenhanna Bridge, Clearfield, while playing around a paper fire Tuesday afternoon about 1 o'clock got too close to the flames and his garments caught fire. Before help reached him he was burned so seriously that death resulted at 5 o'clock Christmas morning. The funeral will take place Saturday morning, December 27th at 9:00 o'clock at Grampian in the Catholic Cemetery.
The McDermott family formerly resided in Phillipsburg and Mr. McDermott is a brother of Mrs. William Wynn of Faulkner's Addition. Little Paul who was a bright and lovable child was aged about 3 and 1/2 years. His tragic death at Christmas time has caused the keenest grief of his parents.
