Ora Swarts, 69, Dies August 27
Ora Swarts, 69, died Aug. 27 in an Oklahoma City hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Aug. 30 at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Carnegie with Rev. Gilbert Hughes officiating. Burial will be in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of the Pitcher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Swarts, who was born Feb. 16, 1910 at Fort Towson, Oklahoma, was a member of the Carnegie Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russel, on May 8, 1975.
Survivors include two sons, Russell, Jr. of Oklahoma City and Bob of Annandale, Virginia; one brother, W.M. Fodge of Walport, Oregon; and five grandchildren.
