Mr. Richardson was a well known pioneer rancher of Young County, and had amassed a considerable fortune when a vast oil field was discovered on his property in 1923.
Survivors: his wife; three sons - John Richardson, Curtis Richardson, Charles Richardson, all of Olney; three daughters - Mrs. Hardin Lemmons of Olney, Mrs. Brown Smith and Mrs. Zack McWhorter, both of Throckmorton; three sisters - Mrs. Jim Blakely of Newcastle, Mrs. W.P. Terrell of the True community, Mrs. A.S. Howard of Muleshoe, several grandchildren.
