Obituary: Jefferson City Post Tribune, Wednesday, August 4, 1999

S. G. "Jack" Graham, 73, Eldon, died Aug 2, 1999, from injuries sustained as the result of a traffic accident. He was born Aug. 16, 1925, in Etterville, a son of Ernest E. and Marble Lura Browning Graham. He was married Dec. 9, 1945, in Hutchison, Kan., to Doloris Burkey, who died March 4, 1999.

He was a graduate of Eugene High School and a Navy veteran of World War II. A lifelong resident of Miller County, he was a member of Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Eldon. He was a manager of Ivey Oil.

Survivors include: three daughters, Carolyn Jenkins, O'Fallon, Julia Hartgrave, Fort Leonard Wood, and Connie Kirkweg, Eldon; four sons, Steven Graham, Tuscumbia, David Graham, Lohman, Tom Graham, Dallas, and Larry Graham, Eldon; two sisters, Brooxie Means, Eldon, and Bonnie Collet, Independence; one brother, Donald Graham, Rolla; 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Randall Bunch will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
