Sadie Helton Davis, 82, of Brian Center Viewmont, formerly of 520 1st Street West, Conover, died October 11, 2002 at Brian Center Viewmont.
Born February 4, 1920 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Augustus Franklin Helton and Minnie Iona Rosenbaum. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Davis, 2 sisters, Dorothy Mae Poovey and Blanche Helton, 4 brothers Charles Helton, Clyde Helton, Donnie E. Helton and Willard Helton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2002 at Woodlawn Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Ed Yount will officiate and burial will be in Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2002 at Drum Funeral Home & Cremations in Conover, NC. At other times the family will be at the home of Sandy Travis, 3320 46th Ave NE, Hickory, NC.
