Charles Raymond Cundiff, 64, of Auburn died Monday at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home, Virden. He was born Nov. 20, 1932, in Old Berlin, the son of Chester A. and Myrtle A. Trout Cundiff. He married Berta L. Robbins in 1952 in Springfield.
Mr. Cundiff was a baker for Mel-O-Cream Donuts for more than 30 years.
Survivors: five sons, Gary Cundiff of Dawson, David Cundiff of Kentucky, Joe and Frank Cundiff, both of Auburn and Tom Cundiff of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Beverly Nichols of Las Vegas, Nev., and Karen Cundiff of Auburn; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bill Cundiff of Arenzville, Jim Cundiff of Springfield and Robert Cundiff of Dallas; a sister, Rose Dumbris of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10 a.m. Friday Berry Funeral Home, Auburn, the Rev. Bill Woodruff officiating. Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery.
