Obituary - Archie R. Conrad, 80, of Conrad Road, Route 2, Ludington, died early this morning at Memorial Medical Center of Mason County where he had been a patient for one day. He was born Nov. 25, 1896, in Amber Township and married April 17, 1918, in Mason County to Mildred Cameron, who survives. Mr. Conrad was a life long farmer in Amber Township, retiring in 1972. He was a member of the Farm Bureau and a past member of the Amber Township Grange. He is survived, in addition to his wife, by one son, Robert of route 2, Scottville, two daughters, Mrs. Russell (Betty) Gallie and Mrs. Donald (Mary) Schulz, both of Muskegon, eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; one aunt, Alice Pittard of Ludiington. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Aubrey. The funeral for Mr. Conrad will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Stephens Funeral Chapel in Scottville with teh Rev. John Christensen officiating. Burial will be in Rickey Cemetery, Conrad Road. The family will be at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday to received guests. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of one's own choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. - Stephens
