Mary married Julius Hekel 14 oct 1858 Dubuque Co, IA. They moved to Newton Twp, Buchanan Co, IA in 1864. After Julius died in 1886, she married Mr. A. Uhl on Nov 12 1891. She and Julius had 8 children. Julius was buried in Circle Grove Cemetery, but when Mary died she wanted him moved to Fairview cemetery in Winthrop, IA
