Myers.-Daniel M., son of the late Daniel and Anna (Myers) Myers, was bo rn Aug. 20, 1873 in Bedminster Tp., Pa.; died July 26, 1935 at the ho me of his daughter, Mrs. Jonas Landes of Doylestown, Pa.; ag ed 61 y. 11 m. 6 d. Since New Years he was in ill health, and on Ju ne 7, he moved to the home of his daughter, where he suddenly died of a he art attack while walking to the barn. On Mar. 9, 1895, he was married to S usie F. Dirks. To this union were born 10 children, 6 of whom are livin g: Samuel of Barrington, N. J.; Mrs. Jonas Landes of Doylestown, Pa.; Mr s. Henry Swartley of Gardenville, Pa.; Mrs. Charles Kulp of Souderton, Pa .; Clayton and Alfred of Perkasie, Pa. On April 10, 1913, his first wife d ied, and in 1915 he was married again to Edith Fly. To this union were bo rn 6 children, all of whom are living: Henry and James of Collegeville, Pa .; Jesse of Perkasie, Pa.; Sara of Souderton, Pa (died 22 May 1942 at a ge 18;) Laura of New Britain Tp., Pa.; and Edith Jane* of Rockhill, P a. On April 10, 1931, his second wife died. Also surviving are 15 grandchi ldren, a sister (Mrs. Mary Rice), his mother-in-law (Mrs. Sarah G. Fly), a nd a host of relatives and friends. Although only at the home of his daugh ter for seven weeks, there is a vacant place. Grandfather was a memb er of the Doylestown Mennonite Church. During his last days, "Christ the L ord cometh" was in his mind often. Funeral services were held July 3 0, at the home, by Bro. A. O. Histand of the home congregation, and at t he Doylestown Mennonite Church, by Bro. John Leatherman of the home congre gation and Bro. Amos Kolb of the Spring City congregation. Text, Matt. 25: 13.
