DEATH OF MRS. PETER FELDER
At the ripe old age of 86 years, 8 months and 14 days, Mrs. Peter Felder passed away at the St. Franci's home, Dubuque, Iowa, Saturday, April 14, 1923.
Deceased was born in Germany, July 30, 1837. She came to America the 5th of May, 1882, to Glen Haven, Wis., then moved to Manson, Iowa, later came to Guttenberg and lived here until seven years ago when she went to the St. Francis home of the aged, Dubuque. Her husband preceded her in death about twenty years ago.
She leaves to mourn five sons and four daughters, viz: Rev. Augustine of Nebraska, August and Otto F. New Hampton, Iowa, Henry F. of Whittemore, Iowa, Louis of Denver, Col., Liz F. of Dubuque, Sister M. Arsenia of Bellevue, Sister H. Hubertine of Colfax, Wash., Mrs. Christina Heitman of Guttenberg, (two daughters preceded her in death) also twenty-three grand children and thirteen grandchildren.
She was a faithful member of the Catholic church, also of the St. Ann society. The funeral was held Monday, April 10 (sic), at the St. Francis chapel, Dubuque. The body was laid to rest in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
