Survived by a son, James Wesley Ellis, U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne, stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C.; mother and father, George Mathew Ellis, Jr. and Mary Alice Ellis of Baker; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Socorro Ellis, San Diego, and Mathew and Cheryl Ellis and Patrick and Laura Ellis, all of Baton Rouge.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, George Mathew Ellis, Sr. and Mildred Ellis, and George and Eunice Lafield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Stephens Fund, c/o First United Methodist Church, Baker.
