Marzie Brown Ford, age 85, passed away on June 24, 2010 at 2:10pm, born (and preceded by death) to Edward Luther and Delia Prestridge Brown on August 28, 1924. She spent her childhood in McComb, MS. She was the youngest of a family of twelve. She and her husband owned and operated Kingston Cleaners where she was an upstanding citizen of the Kingston Community. She has been preceded in death by her husband John D. (JD) Ford Sr., sisters Flora Brown, Pluma Allread, Gladys Matthews, Tressie Williams and Eva Nettles; brothers Louie Brown, Loy Brown, J.L. Brown, Lynus Brown and Earl Lee Brown.
Marzie is survived by her son John Ford and wife Dale, sister Vescie McKenney and close friend Steve Hensley and wife Jeannette,
She was blessed with 48 nieces and nephews and countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.
Funeral 3:30pm Sunday June 27, 2010 in the Kyker Chapel. Entombment will follow at the Kingston Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:30pm Sunday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.
