Della was the daughter of Edward Leslie Bridges and Boonie Coffey. Della married William Roy Harris on July 27, 1934. She was a mother, housewife and bookkeeper for her husband's business, Roy Harris Machine Shop. She was a Charter member of the 2nd Baptist Church, and volunteered for 20 years for Catholic Charities.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, and two brothers.
Survivors include her son Thomas A. Harris and wife Nancy of Odessa; one granddaughter, Joanna Smith of Dallas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 9:00 AM Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Emmett Bernard officiating. Funeral services directed by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
At families request memorials can be made to Hospice House, 903 N. Sam Houston Street, Odessa, TX.
