Last rites for Henry Stroh, 78, Rt. 3, will
be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Squire-
Simmons-Carr Rose Chapel.
Mr. Stroh died Friday in a Missoula hospital

HENRY STROH, 78 DIES IN HOSPITAL

Henry Stroh, 78, of Rt. 3, died Friday night
at a local hospital.

Mr. Stroh was born March 8, 1888, in Hooper,
Neb. He married Helen Marie Schendler July
31, 1912, in Omaha, Neb. They moved to
Woodside in 1916, and then to Missoula where
he was employed by the Bordeaux Meat Co. In
1921, he accepted employment with the John
F. Daily Meat Co., retiring in 1953.

Mr. Stroh served as a Boy Scout Master
during the early 1920s, and on the District
37 School Board at Coldsprings. He was a
member of the Elks Lodge and the Christian
Science Church.

He was preceeded in death by a daughter,
Madelyn Gilder, in 1946, and by his wife in
1963.

Survivors include to daughter, Mrs. H. F.
(Dorothy) Beardmore of Missoula and Mrs.
E.D. (Yvonne) Averill, of Cooperstown,
N.Y.; 12 grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the
Squire-Simmons-Carr Mortuary.
