Edna M. Steele, 91, of Kountze, Texas, died Monday, June 22, 2010, at Kountze Nursing Center.
Edna was born October 9, 1918, in Angus, Texas to James Warren and Elizabeth (Berry) Stewart. A resident of Kountze for the past eleven years, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons, Dr. George Steele Jr. of Silsbee, Texas and John Steele of Garland, Texas; grandsons Brad Steele and Mike Steele; and seven great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Steele Sr.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010, at Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, Texas under the direction of Broussard's in Kountze, Texas.
