Mary Elizabeth Campbell 81, of Springfield died at 8:15 a.m. Friday at St.John's Hospital.
She was born April 25, 1912, the daughter of A.D. and Anna Campbell. She was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Robert and James; and two sisters, Margaret and Mrs. Charles (Dorothy Helen) Petefish.
Until her retirement, she was employed by the Illinois Teachers Retirement Fund. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Home Extension and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bisch and Son Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rochester Cemetery.
