Funeral services for Mrs. Nola Wallace Weaver were held October 21, 1962 with
burial in the New Home Cemetery. She died Oct. 19 at the Gilmore Memorial
Hospital in Amory where she had been a patient for one day. She had been sick
for a long time. She was 75 years old. She was a daughter of the late Sam and
Mary Cheek Wallace, pioneer citizens of Itawamba County. She was a member of the
Gum Church of Christ.

She leaves her husband, Flavious Weaver of Smithville; four sons, Luther Weaver
of Fulton, Raymond and Charlie Weaver of Smithville and Travis Weaver of
Waukegan, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Rennie Mae Wallace of Amory and Mrs. Nannie
Fay Wilson of Smithville; three step-daughters, Mrs. Mazie Turner of Fulton,
Mrs. Maudie Dennie of Fulton and Miss Merle Weaver of Amory. A brother, George
Wallace of Portersville, Calif., also survives. In addition, she leaves 20
grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
