Funeral services have been set for 2 o'clock this afternoon in the Lelia Lake Baptist Church for Charles Green Knox with Rev. J.J. Williams, officiating.
Mr. Knox, 88, died Tuesday in Thurman Rest Home in Amarillo. He was a retired farmer and had been a resident of Lelia Lake 42 years.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Bessie Reynolds, Mrs. Ruth Dodson and Mrs. Isabel Howard, all of Amarillo and Mrs. Altha Floyd of Lelia Lake; four sons, Van of Clarendon, Willard of Lelia Lake, Noel of Floyd, N.M., and Hugh Knox of Vega; a sister, Mrs. Alma Ray of Lamesa; a brother, Alpha Knox of Fort Worth; and 21 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kinch Leathers, Quinn Aten, Ellis Chenault, Dennis Reed, Harrison Hall and Ross Springer.
Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery with the Murphy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
