Obituary:

Erwin A Alberthal was born on the 15th day of July, 1923 in Gillespie County the son of Alfred Alberthal and Lina Wittkohl Alberthal. He passed away on Sunday, November 25th, 1990 at this home in Fredericksburg, Texas at the age of 67 years.

He was baptized on September 16, 1923, by Rev A Koerner in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church and confirmed on March 21, 1937 in the same church.

On February 10, 1946, he was married to Josephine Ernestine Duecker in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church by Rev Otto Lindenberg.

Mr Alberthal is survived by his wife, Josephine Alberthal of Fredericksburg; his childred: David & Diane Alberthal of San Antonio; Charles Alberthal & friend Kathryn Stone of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Mark Alberthal of San Antonio; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and the following brothers and sisters: Alma, Mrs. Alois Novian of Fredericksburg; William & Irene Alberthal of Kerrville; Florine & Floyd (Pete) Black of Kerrville; and Roland Alberthal of Fredericksburg. Sister-in-law, Leona, Mrs. Leroy Alberthal, also survives.

Preceding him in death were two brothers: Leroy Alberthal and Nolan Alberthal.

Services will be held in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg, Texas on Wednesday, November 28, 1990 at 10:00am.

Internment in Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Leroy Oehler, Harry Keller, Guenther Ellebracht, Reinaldo Noreiga, Henry Beckmann, Hardy Mosel

Military Honors accorded by American Legion Louis Jordan Post No 244 at graveside.
