Verle Wise Damron
HINCKLEY, Millard County - Mrs. Verle Wise Damron, 31, wife of Kenneth R. Damron, died Friday at 8:30 p.m. in a Salt Lake Hospital, following an operation Thursday.
Daughter of Victor and Mary Ellen Day Wise, she was born at Fillmore April 23, 1919. She received her education in Fillmore, graduating from Fillmore high school.
On May 28, 1941, she was married to Mr. Damron. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and active in the various organizations.
Surviving are her husband: two children: Michael and Vicki: her parents, Fillmore, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Rita Anderson, San Carlos, Cal.: Mrs. Della Jackson, Tooele: Mrs. Nora Bohn, Hagerman, Ida.: Mrs. Mariam Alsup, ?, Ariz., and Jack Wise, Fillmore.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Hinckley LDS ward chapel under direction of Walter Ekins, bishop. Friends may call Monday from 10:30 a.m. to time of services at the family home.
Burial will be in the Deseret Cemetery under direction of L. N. Nickle and Sons Mortuary.
