There was a footnote under the inscriptions for James and Marten Wright. "The father of James and Marten lived at he tavern farm of the village. He was son of Capt. Samuel Wright. Indian Scout, proprietors' clerk, selectman, assessor, justice, surveyor, landlord, deacon, Capt. of the militant leader in all affairs of the town.
There is another footnote by the author, "Town record gives, born March 27, 1741 died August 10, 1742.
