Early Nicholson Fisher,74,was found dead yesterday at his residence on Route 3.

He was born in Albemarle County,on March 14,1906, a son of the late Clint and Annie Fisher.

Mr.Fisher was formerly employed by the Waynesboro DuPont Co.Plant and the Blue Ridge Veneer and Plywood Corp.He was a member of Glen Kirk Presbyterian Chapel.

Surviving are five daughters,Mrs.Augustus (Ernestine) Smith,Mrs.Robert (Bessie)Arey and Mrs.John (Joyce) McDougall, all of Waynesboro and Mrs.John (Letty) Wood of Richmond and Mrs. Kenneth (Darlene) McConkey of Redmond Ill,Four sons, Early N.Fisher Jr,Donald R.Fisher,James D.Fisher and Robert A.Fisher all of Waynesboro, one sister,Mrs.Evelyn Plummer of Waynesboro; and 25 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his wife,Katie Elizabeth Fisher,one son,Wayne M.Fisher ,two sisters,Mrs.Henry Moore and Mrs.William Moore; and three brothers,George H.Fisher Sr,Cecil R.Fisher and Boyd Fisher.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the McDow Funeral home,conducted by the Rev E.Charles Smith. Interment will be in the Glen Kirk Chapel Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be be nephews.Honorary Pallbearers will be grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
