Cecil Robert Fisher,59,was dead on arrival at Waynesboro Community Hospital yesterday at 5:45 p.m.He resided at Route 1,Waynesboro.
Mr.Fisher was born July 3,1902 in Augusta County,a son of the late Mr. and Mrs.Clinton Robert Fisher.
He was a member of Harriston Presbyterian Church and a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife,Rosie Alice Fisher;one son,George H.Fisher,of Route 1; two brothers,Early Fisher of Calf Mountain Road and George Fisher of Route 1,Waynesboro; two sisters,Mrs. Lee Monroe of Staunton and Mrs.Evelyn Plummer of Route 1,Waynesboro,and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the McDow-Tyree Funeral Home.It will be conducted by Dr.C.G.Gunn.Interment will be in Glen Kirk Chapel Cemetery.
